Windshield Frame For Land Rover Defender 90 110

Description

Renew the body frame around the front windscreen with SYC-LR01-14 for Land Rover Defender 90 and 110. This windshield frame is the surrounding component for a frame repair, distinct from replacing the glass pane itself.

Plan the frame, seal and glazing together

A damaged frame and a damaged windscreen involve different replacement parts. Identify which component needs renewal, then assess the surrounding sealing surfaces as part of the repair.

Establish the frame position and adjoining-panel alignment before planning final refinishing and glazing. Use the actual surface condition to select the paint preparation rather than assuming a particular coating from its appearance.

Product FAQ

Does windshield frame mean the glass?

No. It means the body-frame component around the front glass opening. Windscreen frame is another name for the same part; SYC-LR01-14 identifies this frame.

Will a frame replacement cure all windscreen leaks?

It addresses frame damage. The seal, its seating and adjoining bodywork can also affect water entry, so those areas need to be included when the repair concerns a leak.

When should refinishing and glass fitting be scheduled?

Set the frame alignment first, then agree the refinishing and glazing sequence with the repairer. That sequence should account for the supplied surface and the glazing system used on the vehicle.
